Our Mia is now 8 years old and was born with Micropthalmia, Cleft Palate and blindness in her right eye. She has Sensory Processing Disorder which was diagnosed by her OT at around 2 years old. After severe meltdowns we did our best to understand the diagnosis and provide her with outlets within our home daily. She has access to all kinds of sensory outlets including quiet down items like tents, heavy blankets & sleep masks ...love her Llama one below <3 She also has trampolines, bounce chairs, swings that we rotate in and out of the house for her. She also likes slime, shaving cream and more! She even has a soap business which combines learning about money with sensory! We always allow her to have options which helps keep her behaviors at a minimum and helps her feel good. Love our Mia big big! She has taught us so much.
